Endometriosis

It is a painful chronic imbalance that affect 1 million women in Canada. It occur when tissue originated from the uterus also called endometrium is also found in the pelvic floor including around ovaries, fallopian tubes, abdomen, ligaments and around the uterus region.

The causes are unknown. There are many theories

  • Pain before and during periods
  • Pain with sex
  • Infertility
  • Fatigue
  • Painful urination during periods
  • Painful bowel movements during periods
  • Other Gastrointestinal upsets such as diarrhea, constipation, nausea.

Acupuncture and shiatsu therapy  helps to regulate hormones and ovaries. Balancing the menses and stimulating a relaxing flow. Patients feel more stable emotionally and have noticed a shift in rhythm and energy level.

Shiatsu helps to balance the ANS autonomic nervous system calming the body and releasing mental stress related to PMS. It calms down the stimulus to the brain causing the release of endorphins, “feel good” hormones.

When the mental level is balanced hormones are in harmony and women feel better. Stagnation of energy or emotional chock causes infertility, ovaries dysfunction and growth of tissues in the endometrium, ovaries and uterus. Acupuncture combined with acupressure and emotional release helps to bring health to women’s womb.
